Through the Fraternidad de Presbiteriales Mayas, Mayan Presbyterian women come together to study the Bible and apply its teachings to improve their lives, the lives of their families and their communities. They do this through community-based courses on communication within the family, developing self-confidence and the importance of engaging politically through actions such as voting. Funds are needed to pay for travel costs for workshop coordinators, Bible study materials and poverty-fighting initiatives.
